June Favourites

July is well underway and again I'm late with the 'Favourites' post. I've been home sick for the past week that I've just not had the energy for anything. But I filmed and edited it and now I'm up for writing the blog post! There are only a few and I'm going to keep this post short, so I'll just get right to it!

Watch My Video Here^^^

Chi Chi Mattes Palette: This was an honourable mention last month, so I felt because I still love it and I've been using it a tonne anyway I should include it in this months edition of my favourites! I use the middle shade (the dark, dark brown one) for my eyebrows everyday and its my current fave product for my brows. The shade next to it and the following two are my favourite transition shades. The middle of the three is a peachy pink / salmon colour (The photo is making it more orange toned) and I love that for really transitioning the crease colour out and up, for the crease colour I use the camel/tan brown colour (right next to the khaki green), its one of my favourite colours for defined crease work. The first of the three 'transition' shades is great for a subtle brown bone highlight. I also love using the green and the blue for some interesting matte looks. All in all its a great all matte palette!

Savvy Long Lasting Eyeliner: This eyeliner is in the shade Starling and firstly, what an absolutely gorgeous shade. It is such a pretty blue colour and secondly, I LOVE USING THIS! I think this is a fabulous way to incorporate colour into a look with out being "too over the top" even though, I love colour! The staying power on these eyeliners is incredible. It literally wont move, it dries fast and doesn't budge. The application is a little tricky - like most liquid liners but not impossible - obviously. There are other colours in the range - I have the gold, white, purple and blue and I use them a lot. They're very cheap and I recommend them to everyone!

Nude by Nature brush: The brush has no 'official' name - well not written on it anyway. I picked up this brush in a set from Priceline and I use it (the set) all the time. I thought I'd lost this brush a while back, so in my current 'de clutter and clean' mood I've had I was searching through and getting rid of old makeup etc I found it again. I use this for crease work and blending. It is so soft, and perfect for defining the crease and placing transition shades. If you get the chance pick up Nude by Nature brushes from your local Priceline. You won't be disappointed.

Australis Cosmetics Double Decker: I'm not sure if they still make these or not, so I'm sorry if you cant find it. I've been using this product like made recently. This one in particular has a copper pigment underneath the gel/cream base. I have been using it on its own for a soft look and also I've been using it with another favourite of mine….

MAC Cosmetics Fix+: I love this stuff. I don't use it as a face mist so much as adding it with pigments and eyeshadows to give them more umph! I've been spraying my brush then dipping it into the Australis pigment for a more intense look. It gives the colours so much more shine and a real 'foiled' finish which is super on trend at the moment. For a MAC product, I think its really well priced too! I think this is a staple everyone should have in their collection.

Rimmel London Sandaleyes XXTREME Mascara: Besides the wordy name, I've been really digging this mascara! Its wand is the most impressive part. It is one of the rubber / silicone type brushes which I really like, but the interesting thing is that it is good for both length AND volume which is something I think a lot of people will like. The only downside to this mascara is that it can clump quite quickly if you apply too much of it - which you shouldn't need to. It doesn't flake off my lashes either and the formula is not too runny so I didn't need to do the typical 'open and wait a week' like I have to with most mascaras. It is a very black mascara and I'm really enjoying it!

So there you go you beautiful people! Those were my favourites. I hope that the next ones will be on time… Probably not though. (;

If you've tried any of these products let me know in the comments and tell me what your favourites have been and I hope to check them out!

My Vanity/Makeup Setup

The Beautification Station.

Wether you're in the 'beauty industry' (blogger, Makeup Artist etc) or not. I think having a designated area for all things beauty is essential in every woman's life. (thats not just the bathroom counter top).

I've been saving up my pennies for months now (would put away money each pay), and I finally was able to buy the essentials to set up my vanity. There are cheaper options other than mine and there are far more expensive options. There are also more original ideas, but I'm so happy with what I've done.

The drawers and table top are from Ikea and the mirror is from Target(AUS) and the fairy lights I found at the dollar store for like $12 so, yay!

*This is not a makeup collection post so don't be expecting it*

The photos for this post were taken with my iPhone, so I apologise for the quality. (I can't find the memory card for my camera #BloggerProblems)

This is the first picture I took of my vanity 'set up'. I was so excited I just put the mirrors on and my palettes on top, along with my Eiffel Tower that I use to display jewellery. It looks a little different now. But basically the same.

So, as I said the main furniture was from Ikea. That is the two drawer units and the table top. I'll have links to everything that I can find links to!

The drawers themselves are the iconic and cult favourite the ALEX drawer unit I got two of the small sets. There is a larger 9 drawer unit also available but as I wanted to use this as a desk situation a 9 drawer unit wouldn't be the best. I got them in the colour white (there are a few colour choices).
Each they were $139.00 AUD.

The desk top is the LINNMON table top. I got the 150cm x 75cm. The colour and finish I chose was the 'high gloss/white'. The regular white top is cheaper but I wanted the high gloss because of a few reasons. I like the way it looks, its so much easier to clean (in my opinion), its so pretty and shiney, it will serve as a fresh background for photos (which I take a lot of product photos so this was a must for me). Basically I wanted it, so I got it. You don't have to, but if you're not sure, this is what it looks like and why I got it. (: This table top was $69.00 AUD - I believe the non gloss was $49.00AUD. There are also many different colours/finishes and sizes for this top.

The great thing about Ikea is that it is totally customisable. The draws each come with sticky rubber gel tabs to put on top so the table top wont slide around. (dat gloss tho). However if you're using just one ALEX drawer set you can buy legs that screw into the other side of the table top and violà you have a table! I really like that its quite a large table top too. I can put things on it for permanent storage but still have enough room to bring my laptop over if I need to.

So all together the two drawer sets and the table top cost me just under $350.00 AUD ($347.00 to be exact) If you're apart of the Ikea family member group thing? they have bonuses every month and this month it is $15.00 off if you spend over $100.00 so thats great! (btw, this isn't a sponsored post, it'd be nice if it was though!)

Now to some people (myself included) $350 is a lot of money, which is why I've literally been saving for this for 6+ months. Putting a small amount of money away each pay and saving. I finally got it and I'm so happy! (I probably would have had it sooner, but I got hit with a wave of birthdays in June and July)

Now onto what I'll put in the drawers! Makeup of course! Well, beauty bits anyway. Hair stuff and makeup stuff and nail stuff (say stuff one more time, Caitlan, I dare you).

As stated at the start of this post, this isn't a makeup collection post, I might do one later (like a long time later) but thats not the concern right now.

I'm so excited to buy storage for the drawers, like little containers and dividers etc, my OCD mind is racing about putting everything in its own neat little place and everything being all lined up and mmmm so satisfying! I'm also really excited to display some of my favourite beauty items and just surround myself with what makes me happy.

Putting the whole thing together was easy-ish. I had to get my fiancé to help me. Not because I couldn't understand the instructions but dear lord, no one tells you how dang heavy those ALEX drawers are! Now I've got a heap of Ikea stuff in my house but this is one of the heaviest things - and I've moved a dining table by myself.

The heaviest of all.
The instructions are easy to follow however, you'll need a hammer and both types of screw driver, all they supply you with is an alan-key which yes, you do need.

Step one: Ask for help!
So, Kris (the fiancé) went out to run some errands and I thought I could at least get one done by the time he got back and I'd be like, super woman and he'd be so impressed with me and there would be proud times all around! This didn't happen. I opened the first box, (a feat in itself really - why glue it all so dang much if it has to be opened???) pulled all the bits out, got a comfy spot on the floor and then realised I needed more tools. I didn't know where they were. So this was the picture I sent to him. With the caption - "I don't know what I'm doing". Once he was home and we found the tools we both put the units together, I did the drawers while he did the frame (and then he did some drawers too because he's faster at it than I am). They were finally built and we shimmied them into the room. I then placed the table top on top which was so easy. The table top is so light. I then had the basis of my 'vanity'.

I then put up the mirror and lights, the palettes and the Eiffel Tower and called it a night! The organisation would start in the morning!

Now to bombard you with photos!

This is currently what it looks like as I write out this post! As you can see there is heaps of desk space to put loads of things! I'll give you some close ups!

This is the left side of the 'vanity'. The Eiffel Tower (I got from Kmart a year or so again) with earrings hanging off it is in the far corner next to my display of makeup palettes (pretty sure they're all eye palettes except one which is a contour palette). They're displayed in a document holder. I really love this idea for displaying palettes and I might pick up another one, the one I have is this one here from Office Works its apart of the Martha Stewart range and it was about $20.00AUD. It fits so much in it, so far in it there are 18 palettes, still with some wiggle room for more.
The row of purple lids belong to my Rimmel lipsticks (the moisture renew ones) and then there is my little brush holder - I'm pretty sure that came from Office works too.

A close up of my brush cup! These are the ones I reach for the most, I've just gone through and gotten rid of a lot of old brushes that were shedding and falling apart so now I'm ready to stock up on brushes again! I love the Nude by Nature ones and the Real Techniques ones! I've also got some burts bees lip balms, a blistex tub and some old faithful pawpaw ointment.

Moving onto the centre of the vanity. The mirror section! Excuse the derpy face. I'm not sure if I'll kep this how it is, but, right now I've got some perfumes to the left, the first is Bvlgari Crystalline eau de toilette. It is one of my favourite perfumes, I discovered it in France and Kris bought it for me for Valentines day one year. (: The other is a Brittany Spears perfume, I've repurchased it 3 times I love it. It was the first perfume that was ever gifted to me (not this bottle but the scent) and whenever I smell it, I feel 16 again in my bedroom at home ready to go somewhere on summer holidays. It is the 'curious' scent.

On the other side of the jars there is my other mirror (also from Ikea) and a glass with my Velourlips.

The three glass jars: The first has cotton rounds that I use for removing my makeup, the middle has cotton balls that I use to remove nail polish etc and the last one is ear buds that have a gazillion uses so they deserve their own jar.

That little wire thing behind the blue perfume is a little man that Kris made out of the wire ties that were holding some of the Ikea stuff together. He doesn't know I kept it. I think its cute.

To the right of the mirrors: The blue glass is one from the cruise I went on in March. (you can see the anchor of 'Royal Caribbean' the logo of the cruise company). I keep my velourlips in it for now until I can think of a better solution. Next to that is a little glass dish thing that I've had for (don't wanna say it) over a decade. I've had this thing since I was maybe 7? Its always sat on my dressing tables/vanities etc so it deserves a spot on this one. I keep loose change and rings in it. Next to that is my current candle its a coconut triple scented candle. It smells like a tropical beach. Just where I wish I was right now. I keep the box there because a) it's pretty, and b) I like to know what candle I've got out. Finally, behind all of that is a photo of Kris and I. It was taken on our 6 month anniversary (so long ago now!) The frame was a gift for my 21st birthday.

My 'Vanity' itself is almost all organised, as I said I still need to get containers to put things in, but I'll give you a little sneak peak at what is in there now.

The left side drawers.
I've only 'filled' four drawers out of the five on this side. Starting at the bottom: I keep refills of cotton rounds, cotton balls, and also my makeup removers. Next one up is blank at the moment. Above that Is where I keep hair care and hot tools. My NuMe Lustrum set along with hair ties, bobby pins, hair straightener etc. Above that is my eyeshadows and lashes. Anything from quads and trios to small palettes and all my colour tattoos etc and coloured bases. The top drawer has foundations, powders, blushes, bronzers and highlighters etc as well as primers.

The right side drawers

On the right side set of drawers: The bottom draw has spare makeup bags etc in it, for travel and such things. The draw above that will have my hand creams and moisturisers (not face skin care that lives in the bathroom). The next one up is nail polish and nail art supplies. Above that one is lipsticks which I cant wait to organise! Then the very top one is eyeliners (pencil, gel, liquid and coloured) mascaras and eyebrow pencils, powders etc.

This isn't what I can in depth makeup collection. For some people this will be enough, the post is about my set up, not the contents.

If you made it all the way to the end congratulations! I hope the pictures got you through.

If you have any questions please leave a comment I will always respond. Let me know if you'd watch a video tour of my vanity too!

Australis Cosmetics Current Obsessions

#LoveAustralis

I've done some massive spending lately. Yay?
I went crazy for anything I could get my hands on (and anything my bank account would allow)
Some of my favourite things from my spending spree are a few products from Australis Cosmetics, in particular their 'Metallix Eyeshadows' and the Bronzeyed Girl eyeshadow palette (exclusive to Kmart).

Lets start with the Bronzeyed Girl palette. Retailing at $9.99 AUD (I think from memory that is what it was however I KNOW that it is under $10.00) the palette has to offer 6 (very generous in size) shimmer shades. This palette is in the same style to the ever so popular AC/ON Tour Contour Kit. The packaging is the same as so are the sizes of the products.

All the shadows are shimmer and they have an interesting texture - they're not soft or silky, they kind of feel gritty - but not in a bad way at all. Its kind of nice? In my opinion they feel a lot like the L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows! (Side note, those are gorgeous) Once applied they feel silky and smooth and blend incredibly well!

The pigmentation is great on its own and doesn't need a primer for good colour pay off obviously with a primer the colours are more bold. I generally use them without a primer. (if you have oily lids you might want to use a primer)

Swatches:

There are no product names or numbers so I've swatched the shades in the same way they appear in the palette, on my hand. I'll refer to them as row and position. Row is either TOP or BOTTOM and position will be left to right 1, 2 or 3.

As the palette suggests the shades are all gold/copper/bronze shades and they're all super beautiful.

T1: Yellow/gold/champagne shade, beautiful for all over the lid or inner corner highlight.
T2: Orange gold shade, will suit all eye colours.
T3: Beige shimmer/satin shade. Used for highlights or a simple wash over the lids for a subtle look.

B1: Dusty Rose / Mauve shade, I don't have a shade like this. Its very beautiful.
B2: Brown/Burgundy/Purple with gold? reflect shimmer. Lovely shade, will look gorgeous in the outer corner.
B3: Burgundy/Magenta/Plum gold flecks/reflect. Beautiful shade.

The shades are so pigmented its almost too good to be true. They almost have a duo-chrome look to them in certain light. These shadows are very easy to apply and simple to blend. There is no chunky glitter and very little fallout. Can be applied lightly for a subtle look or packed on for more intensity and won't feel heavy or thick on the lids.

I really like this palette and I think if you see it, you should pick it up. Its under $10 so why wouldn't you? The shades will compliment all eye colours. This palette is only available at Kmart so I suggest you find it fast!

Now on to the Metallix eyeshadows! There are six in the range so far each retailing for $8.95. I think this is a pretty reasonable price. In my opinion these are a lot like the Stila magnificent metals foil finish eyeshadows (try saying that five times fast!). Now, I don't own those, but I've swatched them MAAANNNNYYY times.

The Metallix eyeshadows are a gel/creamy consistency that are best applied with fingers or I find a small lip brush works well for precision. The product itself is so different to other cream eyeshadows (this is what it has in common with the Stila shadows) The product is made up of chunks of shimmer that reminds me of gold leaf but once its applied to the eyelid it smoothes out into a flawless flush of colour! They're truly one of the best 'foiled' products on the market which is why I think the price is so reasonable.

Getting these to work can be a bit tricky. Many people have a love hate relationship with these and I can understand. It took me a few goes to get these to work for me. (KEEP IN MIND I HAVE DRY SKIN AND NOT VERY OILY LIDS).

On their own, for me, the lasting power is 5ish hours and then signs of creasing happen. (the best thing about this though is that because the product is cream based I can just pat the product back into place and it is usually good for another few hours).

With a primer I get about 6 - 8 hours before creasing happens.

Setting with an eyeshadow (no primer) I can usually get 8+ hours

Putting a primer down, some eye shadow, then the metallix product then setting it with eyeshadow again is the best way I have found to keep this product from creasing (on me). If I do that (which sounds like a hell of a lot but really its like an extra 5 seconds of my day) then the product has a wear time of basically all day (unless I'm sweating up a storm and I don't think that'll happen right now in the dead of winter). So lets get to the fun part!

Swatches:

Gorgeous, right? You can see the almost flakey-ness of the product (that gold leaf look) but trust me when you work it into the lid that look goes away. You can see the amazing foiled metal shine these products have. SO BEAUTIFUL! These products have names - YAY, but I'll still refer to them like I did with the Bronzeyed Girl palette.

T1: Gold Gaga - Golden copper shade.
T2: Lana Del Grey - Lavender silver shade.
T3: Jay Zed - Olive green/gold shade
B1: Guns and Rose Petals - Baby pink/champagne shade(similar to Stila 'Kitten')
B2: Pearl Jammin' - Rose Gold shade
B3: Plum Diddy - Plum/Chocolate Brown with Red/fuchsia specks

You can see here how shiney and how much dimension the shades have. I love them!

Pearl Jammin' and Guns and Rose Petals are my favourite shades straight off the bat. But I really do like them all (otherwise I wouldn't have got them). If you'd like to see some looks with these leave a comment and I'll see what I can do (;

So these are my current obsessions from Australis Cosmetics one of my favourite brands. If you have any of these products let me know how you like them!

May Favourites

After not having any April favourites I have quite a few May favourites. I did quite a bit of spending and I've found myself loving a heap of new (to me) products that I really want to share with you!

I bought this blending sponge and instantly fell in love with it. I always use a sponge for my foundation and the one I used to have was just old and getting pretty ratty, so I decided to give this one a go. It cost me around the $5AUD mark and I'm so happy with it. I use it damp and it blends my makeup beautifully into my skin. There are 4 available by Chi Chi and they come in cute colours and a few different shapes too. If you're in the market for a new beauty sponge for your makeup, I can't recommend this enough!

This essence mascara is better than I thought it would be. I've recently been on a 'high end' mascara binge. I've been really into benefits mascaras - 'They're Real' and 'Roller Lash' but I picked up this one on the recommendation from my friend and I'm really enjoying it. For a volumising mascara it does a really good job at length as well. It does add volume to the lashes like it says it does. The brush is unique, the handle is easy to grip as the design on it is rubberised and fits quite nicely in the hand. I didn't like it at first, but like with most mascaras they work better after they've been open for a week or so. After the impromptu waiting period I used it again and I've been loving it ever since. It doesn't make my eyes water or anything either like a lot of mascaras do. I love this, its under $5AUD and I will be recommending it to everyone!

(Sorry for the dark photo). Now to be honest I don't usually prime my eyes, I don't find that I need to. I have dry to normal skin and my lids aren't that oily. I usually wear it if I want the shadows to really stand out with colour. When it comes to this primer, I've been using it for years, I did stage makeup in highschool and I used this when it was a 'new' product. I use it for whenever I need to prime my eyes and I've been doing that more lately as I've been experimenting with different types of eye products that require priming. I really like it, its affordable and I recommend it if you're in the market for a great eye primer!

I have been loving this Bronzes palette by Chi Chi. You can clearly see that the fifth colour along has been used a heap! I use this palette for every day looks and even some evening glam, its perfect for the warmer and cooler months its a real 'all rounder' If you're going to get any of the Chi Chi palettes get this one. (and the Mattes) but this one.

I've been really into the neutral lip lately, which is strange because I love rocking the dark, bold lip in the cooler months. But the lip liner pencil by essence in shade: 11 - in the nude - and the lipstick by Rimmel in the shade: 'Notting Hill Nude' are one of my favourite combinations. They compliment each other so well and are the perfect nudey pink/brown lip colour which is super on trend at the moment. These products are great together, or on their own. I love the moisture renew line of lipsticks by Rimmel and I really recommend this combo!

Back to eye products! This is one of the Metallix eyeshadows by Australis. They're new to the market and I think they're great. They do take a little work to get them to not crease (hence the use of the eye primer). I'll be putting out a few posts and vids on how I get these to work for me.
This one pictured is one of (if not my favourite) the six. Its in the shade 'Guns and rose petals'. Adorable name, beautiful colour and its one of the most beautiful eye products. It gives off that really on trend "foiled" look that I think a lot of people will be after. Best applied with finger or I use a lip brush for precision. At $8.95AUD why wouldn't you get them?!

And last but not least, at the end of the day when you wanna take all these products off your face, use this stuff! Its great for the eye area (I sometimes use it as an all over face makeup remover). Its gentle, does not irritate me, AND it gets everything off. Like everything. This was one of the first brands of makeup remover I ever used and I've been re-purchasing it for years. Simple is a super affordable brand with products that actually work. I really suggest you check them out!

These were my favourites of the month of MAY! Hope you enjoyed, be sure to check out the video so you can hear me rave all about them!

Retail Therapy

Its that time of the year again folks… Exam time.
Ugh, I hate it, even the word 'exam' makes me feel vomity. I had my first exam of the season today and while I think I did ok, I was still feeling pretty average about it. So after the exam, me and my bestie hopped on the good old B10 and headed into the city!

Destination: Myer Centre Rundle Mall
Targets: Mac and Priceline
Mission: Success

Our first port of call was the MAC counter in Myer. I knew exactly what I wanted to get, so naturally, I looked around, touched and swatched everything and made a mental 'I want' list. Before buying anything, we looked around all the other high end counters. Sarah wasn't sure on what she wanted to get, so I was more than happy to explore with her. The buddy system works even for shopping.

We went to the mecca section and I fell in love with a Sila palette. Its one of the 'Eyes are the window' palettes and its in the shade 'Soul' - so much lust for that palette. I have decided that I want to save up and get it, the palette in 'Body' is also gorgeous and I want that one also.

We bumped into a friend of ours whilst in the midst of shopping, she's also a makeup lover and an all around great human being. It was great to see her.

Time to buy. We went back to MAC and I went over to get what I was after, Fix+. I've been umming and ahhing over it for a while. I really want it for some eyeshadows I have that aren't as pigmented as they could be and for my loose pigments to make it easier to apply. I'm glad I got it. I've been experimenting with it since I got it and I LOVE IT!

After MAC we made our way over to priceline. I also knew exactly what I wanted to pick up, but unfortunately, they didn't have the one I wanted in the shade I wanted, so I picked up this shade instead (also on my list of the ones I wanted). Its a lipstick by Face Of Australia.

It is one of their 'Lasting Looks Lip Creme' in the shade 'Coral on & on'. It is a beautiful colour. Suited more for spring and summer and not really seasonally appropriate for this time of year, but I've been wearing this on the days that are unseasonably sunny, so that makes it work!

I love the packaging of this lipstick, its quite chic and elegant, I love the white of the tube and the engraved FOA logo on the metal. It is just a beautiful product and with a price tag of $10.95AUD I think it is very reasonable. These lipsticks also have a beautiful vanilla scent similar (but in my mind better) than the MAC scent. So far I'm liking this lipstick, I'll probably buy more, I'll keep you posted.

This last thing I picked up on a whim(ish) I'd been eyeing it off the last few times I went in to priceline and I noticed it was a new product, and seeing it at the 'first release sale price' made me want to try it even more, so I picked it up.

It is the 'xxTreme' ScandalEyes mascara by Rimmel London. I mainly wanted to try it because of the applicator. The wand for this product looks so interesting. Its curved which is nice, but there are two types of bristles for two different types of application. One for length and the other for volume. I've used it a few times and I'm really enjoying it.

So these are the things I picked up in my little 'Retail Therapy' session. Do you do much retail therapy? I'd love to know what items are on your 'I want' list.

Thanks for reading, if you'd like to stay up to date with me, here are my links.

The Liebster Award

So I thought I'd finally get around to writing this little post, I was recently nominated by the ever so lovely PastelSparkles. I thought this would be a good thing to do so I can share some random facts about me and also share with you guys what blogs I read also and some of my top ones for you to check out. (:

The Rules:
  1. Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog!
  2. Give your readers 11 random facts about yourself.
  3. Answer the 11 questions from the blog who nominated you.
  4. Nominate 11 bloggers to receive this award.
  5. Come up with 11 questions for your nominees!

  2. I've never really had a pet.
  3. Autumn is my favourite season - for many reasons.
  4. When I was younger I thought I could control the wind - like I was a magical wind witch. (I still think I can sometimes) ;)
  5. Potatoes and Juice are two of my most favourite things.
  6. When I was younger I wanted a dragon. I still want one.
  7. I love travelling. I miss it so much, I want to go back to all the places I've been and have a never ending supply of money so I can stay travelling forever.
  8. I am the most motivated and lazy person all at the same time.
  9. I can open my eyes underwater without anything protecting them.
  10. I am terrified of getting married - I am engaged so, it is inevitable.
  11. When I was younger I would write backwards and in mirror image, the teachers thought there was something wrong with me, but I knew what I was doing - I didn't want anyone to copy my work.

My answers to PastelSparkles questions

Would you rather take a European sight seeing vacation or a relaxing Caribbean vacation?
I think I would prefer to go on a relaxing Caribbean vacation - I've already done a big European trip and would love to just relax on the beach with some type of delicious cocktail.

Would you rather have no internet or no mobile phone?
For how long? For me the two are so interconnected that they're kind of the same. I think I'd choose no mobile phone - I've lived without one before and managed just fine.

Would you rather have no one turn up to your wedding or no one turn up to your funeral?
I think I could handle if people didn't show up to my wedding because there would be at least one person (my husband) there that I could spend the day with - It is our day of course. I would be upset if no one was at my funeral even though I won't be there - I'd like to know that I had a good enough life for people to warrant saying goodbye to me.

Would you rather know the date of your death or the cause of your death?
Ugh, none? I think the cause. If I knew the date and it wasn't what I was expecting I'd be even more distraught then if I knew the cause. If I knew the cause, I'd just avoid doing that thing!

Would you rather be famous or be the best friend of a famous person?
I would rather be the famous person. I think I'm level headed enough to know how to not let fame get to me. If I was best friends with a famous person and it change them I'd hate it.

Would you rather talk like Yoda or breathe like Darth Vader?
Like Yoda's voice? or just the ways he says it? I don't know, I'd probably say breath like Vader. I've heard my fair share of 'Mouth Breathers' in my time so I know people like that exist!

Would you rather always be overdressed or underdressed?
Overdressed. Thats how I live my life now.

Would you rather only need to sleep for 5 hours per day or need to sleep for 10 but control your dreams?
Only need 5 hours. Life is too short to spend it sleeping (said the person who loves sleep more than chocolate). I'd like to have 5 hours of weird dreams (its like what I have now) then to control them - I think it takes the fun out of it.

Would you rather everyday was Christmas or every day was your birthday?
I can't think of a worse choice - I hate presents. However, I like buying them for people and on Christmas everyone gets something - so why not have it Christmas always. That way we can listen to Christmas songs/carols all the time!

Would you rather throw away all of your makeup or throw away all of your clothes?
Clothes are cheaper to buy again. I'd throw them away. Besides, I wear a lot of my fiancés clothes so that'd get my by until I can buy more.

Would you rather eat dog food or a mouldy apple?
Mouldy apple. At least I knew that it was once edible. Dog food is not meant for people. So, no. Unless it was like ONE dog biscuit, I think I could do that.

My nominations are:
My questions for you:

Do you prefer incense or candles?

If you could have any super power, what would it be?

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Would you rather breathe under water or be able to fly?

Would you rather have a 'rewind' button in life, or a 'pause' button?

Would you rather be fluent in every language, or be able to speak to animals?

Would you rather spend one night in prison or a haunted house?

Would you rather be 10 minutes late or 20 minutes early for everything?

Would you rather look weak but be strong, or look strong but be weak?

Would you rather go without internet, or go without a car for a month?

What made you want to start a blog?

Ok so thats this post done and dusted from me, it took me so long to be able to upload this because I was having issues and my posts weren't posting. But here it is! Thanks again to PastelSparkles for nominating me.
